My Mother was taken to the hospital due to urinary tract infection, pneumonia and a falling incident due to a caretaker telling her to hurry up and get dressed. Money and personal items were frequently stolen from her room. The STAR employee was the activity director who always had fun and interesting activities for the patients and truly cared for them. The bus to take the patients to activities or to the store, was most often not available, due to the home not paying the rental fee for the bus. When I saw incidents involving other patients I would report to nurses.
